THE MADMAN CREW
Madman Locomotive is a hard rock band from Northern California formed in 2024, comprised of lead guitarist, Jay Law, lead vocalist, percussionist, and harmonica harpist, Chris “Smiley Coyote“ Van Kirk, bassist and backing vocalist, Joey “Birdman” Loaicono, and drummer and backing vocalist, Jack Carney. Ever since the inception of the Madman Crew, it has been all aboard and off the rails! The combination of dual high energy guitars, harmonizing vocals, and grooving rhythm section make for a hauntingly awesome musical experience you don’t want to miss!
OUR SOUND
Madman Locomotive delivers high energy all original rock and roll. There is an emphasis on vocal harmonization and blending of guitar tonalities to accentuate the desired feeling of the songs. The lyrics are positive yet prophetic, and are delivered with a soulful, intense, and passionate operatic style accompanied by three part harmony backing vocals. The rhythm section is driving with tight drums and chunky accompanying bass lines. Madman Locomotive is New Age Grunge at it’s finest!
